This Class is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm
Ever wondered how to write your own movie? Now you can! We'll cover all of the basics of writing a great screenplay, from coming up with a good idea to formatting a Hollywood-ready script. And, action!

In this introductory class, we'll cover:

  • What makes a great movie?
  • Thinking of the right idea for a screenplay
  • Developing great characters, plot, and conflict
  • Writing realistic dialogue and clear action
  • Hollywood-standard rules for formatting your script

By the end of the course, you'll have a draft for your very own short film!

You will need:

- A notebook and pencil/eraser

- Index cards (30-50)

-Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Pages, or other word processor

Hello, and welcome! My name is Ms. Rosie, and I am so excited to learn with you. I am a certified teacher from Colorado, and I have been living and teaching in Taiwan for the past two years. In addition to classroom teaching, I am also a certified Rainbow Kids Yoga teacher, and I have been trained in the Positive Discipline approach.
